Download Autoruns 8.61

Sysinternals released a new version of Autoruns to which they gave version number 8.61. The program, as the name suggests, shows all the processes that are automatically launched upon system startup. In addition, all Browser Helper Objects and Scheduled Tasks are also shown in separate tabs. The program comes with a graphical or command-line interface, the latter of which can be processed in a login script, among other things. The list of changes looks like this:

This fixes a bug that v8.6 introduced in the compare functionality and an incompatibility with Windows 98/Me.

AutoRuns v8.6 Update
Autoruns now shows service DLLs configured to run in Service Host processes, network providers, language bar addins, and Vista credential providers. It also uses the configured IE7 search engine for on-line searches and includes fixes for running on Vista.
