On Sunday, version 2.0.1 of aTunes was released. This program written in Java allows audio files to be played and managed. It can handle mp3, ogg, wma, wav, flac, mp4, ra and rm, and is also capable of playing online radio stations. Furthermore, it can rip CDs, edit tags and create playlists, and has a navigator that makes it easy to find artists, albums or genres. New in version 2.0.0 is, among other things, the possibility to determine the layout of the program yourself. We also find new filtering options, support for plug-ins and various adjustments have been made that ensure better performance. Version 2.0.1 fixes many issues discovered since the release of version 2.0.0.
