Spread the love

The third beta release of version 0.27 of ATiTool has just appeared on the techPowerUp forum. This extensive tweak program is intended to get the most out of an ATi Radeon video card. ATiTool has the ability to automatically find the highest possible overclock by continuously scanning for artifacts in a Direct3D window while setting the card to an increasing clock frequency. In addition, it is also possible to save different profiles and load them during Windows startup. Among other things, this release adds support for the 64-bit edition of Windows Vista and improves support for multiple video cards in a computer. The full changelog of this release looks like this:

Changes in version 0.27 beta 3:

  • Full Vista and XP64 support
  • Support for all ATI RV6xx ASICs
  • No changes to R600 support in this build
  • Better support for multiple adapters
  • Latest NVIDIA non-WHQL drivers with some G8x cards not supported
  • Better handling of clock step sizes
  • Fixed vertex/pixel/unified shader reporting
  • Added detection for about 20 older and newer ATI ASICs
  • Fixed crash on X1950 and similar GPUs
  • HD2900 can now switch to 3D clocks again
