Apple has released a new beta version of Safari, which is version numbered 3.522.12.2 and is called 3.0.1 for convenience. The new release follows the first public beta and, among other things, removes a buffer overflow from the browser. Safari is the default browser of Mac OS X and allows users to keep track of RSS feeds, use tabs while surfing, and autofill input fields, among other things. Version 3.522.12.2 can be brought in for Mac OS X (14MB) and Windows (8MB), but comes without a specific changelog.
