Download Apple QuickTime 7.6.7

Apple has released a new version of its media player QuickTime. QuickTime is part of iTunes, but those who don’t need that program can also pick up the media player separately. QuickTime is available for Windows and Mac OS X and can be used to view pictures, listen to music, and play movie files. Version 7.6.7 is available for Windows only and fixes one security issue.

Description: A stack buffer overflow exists in QuickTime’s error logging. Viewing a maliciously crafted movie file may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution. This issue is addressed by disabling debug logging. This issue does not affect Mac OS X systems.
