Download Apple OS X 10.11.6

Apple has released an update for OS X 10.11, better known as El Capitan. In version 10.11, available for free from the Apple Store, Apple brings speed improvements to older Mac systems, among other things, and the operating system offers Split View for full-screen viewing with two windows. In addition, the Notes program has been expanded considerably, sites can be pinned in Safari, there is a Split View view and there are changes to Mission Control. In this sixth update we find a small collection of improvements and bug fixes.

• Resolves an issue that may prevent settings from being saved in accounts with parental controls enabled.
• Resolves an issue that prevented some network devices, such as speakers and multifunction printers, from accessing SMB share points.

Enterprise content:

• Improves startup time when connecting to a NetBoot server.
• Resolves an issue that may prevent startup from a NetBoot image created with an OS X v10.11.4 or OS X v10.11.5 installer.
• Resolves an issue that may cause Active Directory authentication to take longer than expected.
