Apple has just released its second security update of this year for Mac OS X made available. Security Update 2007-002 is available this server can be downloaded as a Universal Binary for both Intel and PowerPC macs and addresses some security vulnerabilities in UserNotification, Finder, and iChat, including a buffer overflow and a crash bug. Apple is in this document described exactly which bugs are removed from the code of Mac OS X. Incidentally, those who get updates via Software Update will also receive a new version of Java presented and a revised Daylight Saving Time. The update to the latter includes the latest DST data for America and Canada, while the new Java for Mac OS X includes critical enhancements.
