Download Apple Java for Mac OS X 10.4 Release 6

Apple has released a new version of Java for Mac OS X 10.4 made available. The update is also called Release 6 and can be done by clicking this link downloaded as a dmg file. According to the release notes, Release 6 introduces improved reliability and compatibility for Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 and Java 1.4. This update installs Java versions 1.5.0_13 and 1.4.2_16 on the Tiger system:
