Apple has released an update for version 9 of iTunes. With this program it is possible, among other things, to manage the music collection, buy music tracks via Apple’s online music store, burn CDs and of course manage the iPod or iPhone. Apple’s iTunes is available for Windows XP and Vista in a 32-bit version, a 64-bit version that is only suitable for Windows Vista, and for Mac OS X. version 9 includes a new look and the ability to determine which media files should be synced. In version 9.0.1, the following changes and improvements have also been made:

iTunes 9.0.1 provides a number of important bug fixes, including:

• Resolves issues browsing the iTunes Store.
• Addresses a performance issue where iTunes may become unresponsive.
• Fixes a problem where iTunes may unexpectedly quit.
• Fixes a problem syncing Podcasts in playlists to iPod or iPhone.
• Fixes a problem sorting albums with multiple discs.
• Addresses an issue with the Zoom button not switching to Mini Player.
• Improves application syncing for iPod touch and iPhone.
• Genius is now automatically updated to show Genius Mixes.
