Download Apple iTunes 10.6.1

Apple has released an update for version 10.6 of iTunes. This program makes it possible, among other things, to manage a music and film collection; purchase music, movies, and TV shows through Apple’s online music store; and burn CDs and manage the iPod or iPhone. Apple’s iTunes is available for Windows XP and later Windows versions, and of course for Mac OS X. Version 10.6, among other things, adds support for 1080p video, which of course comes into its own on the new iPad 3. The main improvements version 10.6.1 entails are listed below.

iTunes 10.6.1 provides a number of improvements, including:

• Fixes several issues that may cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit while playing videos, changing artwork size in Grid view, and syncing photos to devices.
• Addresses an issue where some iTunes interface elements are incorrectly described by VoiceOver and WindowEyes. • Fixes a problem where iTunes may become unresponsive while syncing iPod nano or iPod shuffle.
• Resolves an ordering problem while browsing TV episodes in your iTunes library on Apple TV.
