Download Apple iMovie 8.0.5

Apple has released an update to the video editing program iMovie ’09. The update has been given version number 8.0.5 and is just over 35MB in size. The ’09 release of iMovie is part of iLife ’09. Among other things, the program is able to edit videos and publish them on your own website or YouTube. It is also possible to convert movies for use on an iPod, iPhone or Apple TV. In version 8.0.5, support for cameras using the iFrame format has been improved, among other things, and importing videos from the new iPod nano should also improve. This update improves compatibility with a number of devices and fixes other minor issues, including:

• Improved compatibility with camcorders using the iFrame video format
• Improved compatibility with importing video captured on the iPod nano
• Fixed problems with resizing the iMovie window during playback

The update is recommended for all users of iMovie ’09.
