Download AnyDVD 6.5.1.1

Slysoft has released version 6.5.1.1 of AnyDVD. This program runs in the background of Windows and is able to bypass the region and copy protection of DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray discs on the fly. It is also able to skip mandatory parts, such as the copyright and FBI warnings. Finally, the speed of the drive can also be adjusted to reduce the noise produced during playback.

A license of AnyDVD costs 49 euros; for the HD version an additional 30 euros will have to be deposited. Previously you had a lifetime license for this, but since January 1 this has been converted into a license that is only valid for one year. However, Slysoft has received a lot of response to this switch and has decided not to do this conversion until next Monday. So if you consider purchasing a license, it is useful to decide quickly. Changes in version 6.5.1.1:

• New (HD DVD): The “rename highest XPL file” option will only be active, if it is required. It is safe now (and recommended) to leave this option enabled all the time.
• New (Blu-ray): Added support for new PowerDVD builds, which displayed a “virtual drive not supported” error
• New (Blu-ray): Removed obsolete option to disable BD+ removal
• New (DVD): Added support for new protections
• New: Added display, how long you can receive free updates with your license
• Change (HD DVD): The “rename highest XPL file” option is now enabled by default.
