AnyDesk can take over another computer to manage it remotely, it doesn’t use x11, rdp or vnc for that but DeskRT, a video codec specifically aimed at graphical interfaces. The program is available for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, macOS, Android and iOS, although not every platform has the same version number. It is free for home use, for commercial use either a one-time fee or a lower amount per year is required. It does not matter how many updates are released in the meantime. The developers have released version 3.4.1 for Windows systems and 2.9.4 for Linux and macOS systems with the following changes:
Version 3.4.1 (Windows)
Fixed Bugs
- Fixed dpi or comment session dialog.
- Fixed that the comment session dialog can be shown although the license is of type Lite.
- Fixed a crash related to the comment session dialog.
- Fixed that the character right of ‘9’ on the standard hungarian keyboard layout has not been recognized before.

- Improved the notification mechanism of the Chat so the User will get better notifications of a chat message
