Download Amarok 2.5 Beta 1

The Amarok program is a popular audio player for KDE, which has extensive possibilities to create (dynamic) playlists, search the internet for song lyrics and adjust MP3 tags. In addition, Amarok can play streams and supports various back-ends such as xine, NMM and MAS. The developers released the first beta version of Amarok 2.5 a few days ago with the following announcement:

Amarok 2.5 brings you the following major features:

• Rewritten USB Mass Storage support.
• Many bug fixes to the iPod plugin, thanks to Matěj Laitl.
• An integrated Amazon MP3 store. This major feature is the work of our very own web-entrepreneurs Sven and Justus. If you have any icon/artwork skills: we need your help.
