Download AM-DeadLink 4.6
Version 4.6 of AM-DeadLink has been released. This program makes it easy to manage and organize the bookmarks of Internet Explorer, Opera, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Not only can the program inventory ‘dead’ links, it can also permanently store the favicons that some websites use. That makes it a lot easier to find a bookmark in a long list. The following changes have been made in this release:
Changes in version 4.6:
- Firefox 2.x format reintroduced. It’s now possible again to check “bookmark.html” files with old Firefox 2.x and Mozilla format.
- Firefox: Bookmarks are now read-only and can no longer be changed or deleted within AM-DeadLink. This step was required to avoid conflicts due to changes in the Firefox database. AM-DeadLink can however still be used to open and check Firefox bookmarks for dead links.
- Delete *.URL files: *.URL files are now deleted to the recycle bin
- Narrower fixes and improvements
