Download AM DeadLink 2.8.1

Version 2.8.1 of AM-DeadLink has been released today. With this program, internet bookmarks can be organized in a simple way. Not only can the program quickly see if there are ‘dead’ links, it can also permanently save the favicons used by some websites, making it easy to quickly find a bookmark in a long list. AM-Deadlink can handle Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla and Firefox. The changelog for this release shows the following changes:

Changes in version 2.8.1:

• Delete duplicates from Mozilla/Firefox: Bookmarks were deleted from the wrong folder under certain circumstances
• Update URL in Mozilla/Firefox bookmarks improved
• wininet.dll check technology improved
• Internal check technology improved
• AM-DeadLink could crash under certain circumstances when the check technology wininet.dll was selected
• Leading/Trailing spaces in the URL could cause a false positive
• Smaller improvements/fixes
