Download AkelPad 4.9.2

Version 4.9.2 of AkelPad has been released. This fast open source text editor is less than half a megabyte in size unpacked, but it still has an extensive range features. The editor can be used as a replacement for the Notepad or Notepad supplied with Windows, but also for programming. Through plugins add additional functionality, including syntax highlighting, autocompletion, scripts, and macros. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Changed:

• Massive repainting optimizations to reduce flickering.

Added:

• Possibility to call Scripts plugin method directly from /If(). For example:
  /If(`AkelPad.Constants._X64 == 1`, `/Quit`, “)
• Possibility to use /*comment*/ in command line method parameters.

Fixed:

• Buttons that control the size of the frame didn’t work (MDI).
• Main window flickering on Win7.
• Variables usage in “Execute” item.
• Command “Close all but active” (PMDI).
• String selection from list in find/replace dialog, didn’t restore the “Beginning” item.
