Download AkelPad 4.8.2

Version 4.8.2 of AkelPad has been released. This fast open source text editor is less than half a megabyte in size unpacked, but it still has an extensive range features. It can be used as a replacement for the Notepad or Notepad supplied with Windows, but also for programming. Through plugins add additional functionality, including syntax highlighting, autocompletion, scripts, and macros. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• (?<=pattern) positive lookbehind search.
• (?
• \A and \a metacharacters – matches the position at the beginning of the document/search range.
• \Z and \a metacharacters – matches the position at the end of the document/search range.
• \x{n} metacharacter for surrogate pairs search/replace.
• Variable %cl or manual parameter “StatusUserFormat” now support surrogate pairs.
• Manual parameter for “MouseOptions” with a value of 64 – left margin line selection with mouse selects all wrapped line.

Fixed:

• File saving in MBCS code page.
• Single replace with using regular expressions.
• \D, \W metacharacters didn’t match new line.
