Download AkelPad 4.3.3

Akelpad has been updated to version 4.3.3. The download of this small and fast open source text editor is just over 200KB, but despite that, the program has an extensive range of features. It can be used as a replacement for the Notepad supplied with Windows, but can also be used for programming. Through plugins add additional functionality, including syntax highlighting, auto-completion, scripts, and macros. Below you will find all the changes that have been made to the program since version 4.3.0, the previous entry in the Meuktracker:

Added:

• Now possible to assign hotkeys in plugins dialog: (Ctrl|Alt|Shift)+Delete, (Ctrl|Alt|Shift)+Backspace, Ctrl+Tab, Ctrl+Shift+Tab.
• “Whole word” in find/replace dialog.
• Possibility to set left and right URL delimiters.
• Left mouse button scrolling in print preview dialog.
• Possibility to use text selection together with middle mouse button scrolling.
• Manifest in program resources.
• Installation with notepad replacement under WinVista and Win7.
• “Colors…” and “Plugins…” dialogs now resizable.

Changed:

• Redesigned program icon. Added 16×16, 48×48 dimensions.
• Speed ​​of large text block selection is increased.
• Navigation through the Ctrl+Down/Ctrl+Up is now identical to RichEdit.
• Syntax highlighting improved.
• Internal Alt+NumPad processing, now started after two Num 0.

Fixed:

• Code page recognition in 4.3.1.
• Text search with flag AEFR_WHOLEWORD.
• Print of a text containing surrogate pairs.
• Hiding horizontal scroll bar (Win7).
