The third beta release of version 3.10 of the media player AIMP has been released. AIMP is a free Russian-made lightweight media player with support for the most commonly used music formats. The appearance is somewhat like Winamp and can be adjusted by means of skins. AIMP has an 18-channel equalizer on board and supports plugins. Furthermore, the program can rip CDs, convert music files and edit tags.

In version 3.10 the appearance has been slightly modified, the audio converter is again supplied with the program and various changes have been made to the playlists and the audio library. The changelog for this release shows the following changes and improvements:

Changes:

• Decoders: The BASS has been updated to v2.4.9
• Converter: The Blade-interface of the lame_enc.dll library now supports
• Converter: The Encoders has been moved from “AIMP3\Plugins” to “AIMP3\Modules” folder
• Sound Engine: Performance has been increased

Fixed:

• Bugs with displaying old skins
• The “Select Language” dialog – drop-down list is displayed behind the window
• The Tag Editor does not save cover art to the file, if file does not contain tags before operation
• Size of the window does not save, if it in the “desktop tool bar” mode
• A Memory leaks in the Audio Library
• The “Disable transparency if window is mouse focused” function does not work correctly in some cases
• The playlist does not accept files from another application via Drag-n-Drop operation
• Small bugs and defects
