Download AIMP 3.00 build 851 beta 1

A new development version of version 3.00 of the media player AIMP has been released. The build number has now reached 851, but the software is still offered as beta 1. AIMP is a free Russian-made lightweight media player with support for the most commonly used music formats. The appearance is somewhat like Winamp and can be adjusted by means of skins. AIMP has an 18-channel equalizer on board and supports plugins. Furthermore, the program can rip CDs, convert music files and edit tags.

In addition to a new look, Version 3.0 includes a new sound engine, a completely revamped music library and support for ReplayGain. The following changes and improvements have also been made in this update:

New:

• Playlist: Added ability to expand / collapse all groups in the playlist by clicking with pressed Alt button

Changed:

• Sound Engine: Spectrum calculation algorithm has been rewritten
• Player: Playlist view settings has been moved to separate tab
• Skins: Compatibility with AIMP2 skins has been improved
• Core: Sorting algorithm speed has been increased
• Core: Text drawing speed has been increased

Fixed:

• Player hangs when switching to the next track
• Mono channel mode active by default
• Crossfade settings don’t apply in some ways
• Autoshutdown was executed incorrectly on ending of the playing queue
• Advanced Tag Editor don’t accept WavPack files
• Quick Tag Editor don’t save changes to the playing file
• Input fields resets when switching between tabs in multiple mode of QTE
• Quick File Info takes focus when showing
• Hotkeys don’t work in some cases
• Connection status to the radio station don’t display
• Information about current track on the radio station don’t display
• Small bugs and defects
