Download AIM for iPhone 1.2

With the current hype of Apple’s iPhone, more and more developers are making their software available for this phone. AOL has developed an iPhone version of its instant messenger known as AIM. For more information, we refer you to this page. Version 1.2 of AIM for iPhone is now available from Apple’s App Store and includes the following changes:

Version 1.2:

Version 1.2 resolves a packaging issue that may have caused some users to have upgrading difficulty from the on-device version of the App Store.

Version 1.1:

• Send an IM or SMS to multiple people at once with AIM Blast. See here how to setup Blast for your iPhone.
• Added the ability to explicitly sign off from the AIM network from the My Info screen
• Notification sound and vibration preferences can be set from the Settings application
• This version also resolves issues some users had reported with crashes and blank IMs, particularly on the iPhone 3G.
