Adobe has released an update to Acrobat Reader DC. Acrobat Reader DC is the successor to Acrobat XI and consists of the commercial package to create PDF documents and the free reader to be able to read them. With Reader it is also possible to create simple PDF documents via an online tool. Version 15.016.20039 is a planned update, in which Adobe not only fixes several issues, but also new functionality introduces. For example, a dark theme has been added, an introduction for people starting the program for the first time and Box and OneDrive have been added to the list of supported cloud providers.

Accessibility

• 3948284: Reader crashed when changing a screen magnification if MAGIC is turned on.
• 3962798: JAWS/MAGIC : Reader hangs when switching back and forth between applications with Alt Tab or by clicking.
• 3997841: JAWS reads Tools Read obly on pressing Shift+Tab to bring last item in focus when the last item is not in view.

PDF Maker

• 4041064: PDFMaker creates wrong hierarchy of bookmarks.
• 4076247: Improper and Inconsistent PDF from PDFMaker for PowerPoint for Linked Monochrome Images.
• 4043864: Mac : PDF generated from a PPTX file generates a PDF file with no metadata indicating it was created with Adobe Tools.
• 4098952: Acrobat plug-in is not present in Visio 2016(32 bit).
