Download Adium X 1.3.4 Beta 3

The third beta release of version 1.3.4 of Adium X was released on Wednesday. Adium X is a multi-protocol instant messaging program for Mac OS X that enables chat over the networks of Jabber, ICQ, .Net Messenger Service and Bonjour, among others. The program is open source, can be used in more than twenty languages ​​and has OTR encryption. Version 1.3.4 uses a new libpurple, which fixes several issues, and improvements to Facebook support. Below are all the changes made in version 1.3.4 so far:

Version 1.3.4b3:

• Fixed a crash in Facebook and improved proxy support. (#11948)
• Updated to a newer version of libpurple 2.5.6mtn, which fixes a few more bugs.

Version 1.3.4b2:

• Updated to libpurple 2.5.6mtn from libpurple 2.5.5, fixing several major bugs.

Version 1.3.4b1:

• Facebook fixes:
  • Updated to pidgin-facebook 1.5.0, fixing a major bug in which massive amounts of data could be continuously sent and received under certain situations as well as several minor bugs
  • Fixed a bug in which the Facebook numeric ID rather than name could be shown in the contact list (#11676)
• Fixed a crash when loading Jabber/XMPP account preferences when the computer’s host name is not set (#11246)
• Updated to libpurple 2.5.5 from libpurple 2.5.5mtn
