Download Adium X 1.3.4 Beta

Adium X is an instant messenger for Mac OS X, which is made available under the GPL license. Through the program it is possible to connect to the networks of Jabber, ICQ, .NET Messenger Service and Bonjour, among others. The developers have the first beta of Adium X 1.3.4 released. This version is a bug fix release of the previously made available 1.3.3 release and includes libpurple 2.5.5 and version 1.50 of Pidgin’s Facebook plugin. What other changes have been made in the 1.3.4 beta is unknown. The developers have indicated that an Adium X 1.4 is still being worked on, but they have not announced a possible release date:

Hi folks! We’ve released a 1.3.4 beta, available at the beta page.

This is a small bugfix release, which includes a newer version of libpurple’s 2.5.5 release, as well as a newer version of pidgin facebook chat, the plugin which powers our Facebook chat. Pidgin-facebookchat 1.50 includes the fix for the bandwidth drain found in previous versions of the plugin.

Test it out, let us know how it goes! And yes, 1.4 is getting closer and closer; solitaire.
