Download Adium X 1.0.6 / 1.1.1

The developers of Adium just released a bug fix release prepared for the yesterday released Adium X 1.1 release. Adium X is an instant messenger for Mac OS X that is made available under the gpl license. Through the program it is possible to connect to the networks of, among others, Jabber, ICQ, .NET Messenger Service and Bonjour, and to chat with the users of those networks. In version 1.1, there was a bug in the baked-in update checker that caused the program to crash. This bug has been fixed in the new release. More information about the crash bug can be found in this entry on the company’s blog. Adium X 1.1.1 can be done by clicking this link for Mac OS X 10.4. For Mac OS X 10.3, from this location version 1.0.6, which has the same fixes as 1.1.1:

We’ve just released versions 1.0.6 (for Mac OS X 10.3.9) and 1.1.1 (for Mac OS X 10.4 and later) of Adium. These contain the Sparkle Plus fix that I mentioned previously, so you should now be able to run the check for updates with confidence.
