It took a while, but now users of the freeware version of Ad-aware can also jump into version 6.0 of this popular anti-advertising and spyware tool. Users of Ad-aware Professional and Ad-aware Plus have been able to do this lately. Lavasoft provides us with a nice story about Ad-aware:
