Download Acoo Browser 1.57 build 994

The developers behind Acoo Browser released version 1.57 build 994 of their web browser of the same name yesterday. This program is a so-called ‘wrapper’; it uses Internet Explorer’s internal engine to render the pages, but the interface is owned by Acoo Browser itself. Of course it also adds the necessary additional functionality increased, although with the arrival of Internet Explorer 7 it is less impressive. Some of the additional features include an HTML Source Viewer with syntax highlighting, mouse gestures, shortened URLs, and the ability to zoom in and out of web pages. In this release support for download managers has been added and several improvements have been made regarding favicons:

• Now can select NOT to automatically scan the Web sites in Favorites for Favicons.
• Improved the speed of get Favicons by giving first priority to the local hard disk.
