Download AC3Filter 2.6b

A new version of AC3Filter has been released, a development version this time. This Directshow filter makes it possible to decode and edit sound from movie files in real time. The software is mainly intended to be able to play files with surround sound, such as ac3 and dts tracks. Also, the codec is able to reproduce the sound of a s/pdifprocessing output. AC3Filter comes in two different performances to download, to know full and lite, the former also containing a 64bit version of the filter. Below are the changes made in this release.

Changes in AC3Filter 2.6b

• FFMPEG updated to v1.1.4
• Use FFMPEG for AAC decoding (should be less crashes because faad bugs).
• SPDIF/AC3 encoder: encode 5.1 with back channels (used by flac for instance) like 5.1 with side channels (standard for ac3).
• Serbian language added (thanks to Rancher).
• Languages ​​updated: Basque (thanks to Xabier Aramendi), Chinese (thanks to PoYang).
• Bug fixed: some languages ​​was reset to english after restart.
• Installer: /noicons option works now
