Download AC3Filter 1.30b

For the second time in a week, a new beta release of the AC3Filter has appeared. This DirectShow filter makes it possible to decode and edit sound from movie files in real time. It is mainly intended to play files with surround sound, such as AC3 and DTS. It is also able to process the sound from the digital output (S/PDIF). Among other things, this release contains some fixes for problems that plagued Windows Vista users and the sound volume when decoding ac3 has been increased by 6dB:

Changes in 1.30b:

• AC3 decoding level made louder by +6dB
• Fixed: sometimes 2 tray icons appear in WMP
• Fixed: Matrix editing did not work in Vista
• Fixed: Gains was not saved in Vista
