AbiWord is a word processor that can be run on a wide range of operating systems. The program is able to open and edit various document formats, including those of Microsoft Word, OpenOffice.org, WordPerfect and regular RTF documents. Furthermore, the functionality of AbiWord can be extended by means of plugins.
