Download 7-Zip 9.34 alpha

The developers behind 7-Zip have released version 9.34 alpha of their open source archiving program. 7-Zip can handle a variety of compression formats, including zip, cab, rar, arj, lzh, chm, gzip, bzip2, z, tar, cpio, rpm, deb, and of course the proprietary 7z. Furthermore, the software is capable of opening iso files and NSIS installation packages. Version 9.34 fixes the following three issues:

What’s new 7-Zip 9.33 alpha:

• The BUG in 9.33 was fixed: Command line version of 7-Zip could work incorrectly, if there is relative path in exclude filename optiton (-x) and absolute path as include filename.
• The BUG in 9.26-9.33 was fixed: 7-Zip could not open some unusual 7z archives that were created by another software (not by 7-Zip).
• The BUG in 9.31-9.33 was fixed: 7-Zip could crash with switch -tcab.
