The developers of 7-Zip have released some new development versions of version 9.20 of their eponymous archiver. 7-Zip can handle a variety of compression formats, including zip, cab, rar, arj, lzh, chm, gzip, bzip2, z, tar, cpio, rpm, deb, and of course the proprietary 7z. Furthermore, the software is capable of opening iso files and Nsis installation packages. 9.20 alpha includes support for uefibios files and improvements in integration with 64bit operating systems included. • The bug was fixed: 7-Zip could crash in some cases, if user breaks operation with 7z archive.

• The bug was fixed: 7-Zip File Manager could work incorrectly with archives in “Flat View” mode.
• 7-Zip File Manager now can update file in archive even if the file name is not supported by Windows.
