Download 7-Zip 9.15 Beta

The developers of 7-Zip have released a new beta release of their eponymous archiving program. Despite the choice last year to use the year of release as the main song, this and the previous release seem to have deviated from this again. 7-Zip can handle a variety of compression formats, including zip, cab, rar, arj, lzh, chm, gzip, bzip2, z, tar, cpio, rpm, deb, and of course the proprietary 7z† Furthermore, the software is capable of opening iso files and Nsis installation packages. The program is available for Windows, in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Some bugs have been fixed in this release, including support for the Windows Imaging Formatand a new translation has been added.
