Download 7-Zip 4.62

The developers behind 7-zip today released a new stable version of their eponymous archiver. 7-zip, which is made available under the gpl license, can handle a variety of compression formats, including zip, cab, rar, arj, lzh, chm, gzip, bzip2, z, tar, cpio, rpm, deb, and of course the self-developed 7z. Furthermore, the software is capable of opening iso files and Nsis installation packages. Compared to beta 4.61 from a week and a half ago, only a few unspecified issues have been fixed:
