The beta release of 7-Zip that we reported yesterday did not quite meet the expectations of the developers, because today the successor is ready for you again. This open source archiver can handle the compression formats zip, cab, rar, arj, lzh, chm, gzip, bzip2, z, tar, cpio, rpm, deb and of course the self-developed 7z. In addition, it is also able to open iso files and nsis installation packages. We cannot determine from the changelog which problems have been solved in version 4.55 beta:
