Download 7-Zip 4.25 beta

The developers behind the 7-Zip archiver have released a new beta release. The version number has arrived at 4.25 beta and it can from here are downloaded. This program, which is released under a GPL license, can handle various compression formats, but is specialized in the 7z format, which we developed ourselves. In this release, among other things, the support for drag&drop has been further improved. The full changelog looks like this:

• 7-Zip now doesn’t interrupt the compressing when it can not find specified file as in version 4.24 beta. It just shows warning.
• 7-Zip now supports standard selection mode in the file list
• Some bugs were fixed
