Download 7-Zip 15.07 Beta

Version 15.07 beta of 7-Zip has been released. This open source archiving program can handle many compression formats, including zip, cab, rar, arj, lzh, chm, gzip, bzip2, z, tar, cpio, rpm, deb and of course the self developed 7z. Furthermore, the software is able to open iso files and nsis installation packages. In version 15, the program has, among other things, a new installation procedure and archives created with WinRAR 5 can now be extracted. The changelog for this release looks like this:

What’s new after 7-Zip 15.06 beta:

• 7-Zip now can extract GPT images and single file QCOW2, VMDK, VDI images.
• 7-Zip now can extract solid WIM archives with LZMS compression.
• Some bugs were fixed.
