Download 360 Total Security Essentials 8.8.0.1047

Qihu 360 has released an update for version 8.8.0 of Total Security Essential. This free Chinese-made virus scanner uses several engines to scan files for malicious code. For example, there is a cloud engine, Qihu’s own QVMII and it uses technology from Avira and Bitdefender. Furthermore, there is a sandbox and it shows no ads, something that the free products of competitors often do. Qihu 360 has been accused in the past by independent test companies of manipulating the tests in order to come out better and is therefore no longer included in the monthly comparison tests, but the program does its job well. Added in support for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update in this release.
