Qihu 360 has released a new version of Total Security Essential. This free Chinese-made virus scanner uses several engines to scan files for malicious code. For example, there is a cloud engine, Qihu’s own QVMII and it uses technology from Avira and Bitdefender. Furthermore, there is a sandbox and it shows no ads, something that the free products of competitors often do. The changelog for version 6.6.1.1014 looks like this:
