Yesterday a new beta release of µTorrent came out. It is version 1.5.1 build 462 beta and the download can here are being found. This BitTorrent client stands out for its small download and minimal memory and processor load. Furthermore, it contains useful features such as multiple simultaneous downloads, being able to set bandwidth usage and support for protocol extensions and UPnP. Changes:

• More dialogs are non modal
• Changed connections for the 384k speed
• New UPnP code (works on all OSes)
• Graphic progress bars enabled by default
• Increased length of editbox for new labels

New features:

• Removing torrent will remove partfile
• Added “Completed On” column

Fixed:

• Don’t allow blank filenames for single-file torrents (uses default name instead)
• Bug in add dialog diskspace computation when selecting an item from the list
• Couldn’t use Unicode characters with search box
• Fixed run-time-error 226 when using “Open containing folder” with !ut enabled
