SNK is working on The King of Fighters XV
Developer SNK announced during the Evo 19 fighting games tournament that it is working on The King of Fighters XV. Details about the game are not yet available. The King of Fighters XIV, the predecessor released in 2016, was the first 3D game in the series.
During a presentation at the tournament, the development of The Kings of Fighters XV was briefly mentioned and a logo was shown on the screen. Twitter user Wario64 reported that. There is no further information about the fighting game, but it is likely that it will be a 3d fighting game just like the previous game in the series.
It is not yet clear when The Kings of Fighters XV will be released and for which platforms the fighting game will be released. It is the fifteenth game in the KOF series, the first part of which appeared in 1994 for SNK’s Neo Geo arcade system.
The announcement was made during the Evolution Championship Series, an annual fighting game tournament. A new version of Guilty Gear was also announced here. Images of that game were shown.
