Sniper Elite 5 launches May 26 for PC and consoles
Sniper Elite 5 from developer Rebellion will be released on May 26. The game is coming to current and previous generation Xbox and PlayStation consoles and will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store. The game is also coming to the Game Pass subscription.
Like the previous installments in the series, Sniper Elite 5 is a third-person shooter set during World War II. The latest installment is set in France in 1944. Players take on the role of Karl Fairbune, an American soldier who, along with French resistance fighters, discovers the secret Nazi operation Kraken and must learn more about it.
Developer Rebellion Developments already showed gameplay at the end of last year and has now put a new trailer on YouTube, in which the release date has been announced. The PC version costs 50 euros and the console versions can be ordered for 55 euros. There is also a Deluxe Version with Season Pass. It costs 80 euros on the PC and is available for 90 dollars in the Microsoft Store for Xbox consoles.
