Smartphone enthusiast Evan Blass, known for his Twitter account @evleaks, hints at the arrival of the OnePlus 3T. There have been rumors for some time about that device, which is presumably a faster and more expensive variant of the existing OnePlus 3.

According to the tweet from Evan Blass, the additional cost of the OnePlus 3T is $80. Because OnePlus offers its devices in euros and dollars for the same amount, that will probably also be 80 euros. The OnePlus 3T would therefore get a price of 479 euros.

Blass also speaks of ‘time’, but whether the T in the name of the OnePlus 3T stands for it is not certain. According to rumors, the T stands for Turbo and that should emphasize the extra speed of the device. The device could be made slightly faster by using the Snapdragon 821-soc; in the current model is the Snapdragon 820.

Rumors also speak of a different screen, with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, instead of the current OLED screen with 1080p resolution. According to GSM Arena, a Chinese body has already approved a new model of OnePlus codenamed A3010. It may be the OnePlus 3T.

Evan Blass is known for publishing information about smartphones that have not yet hit the market and he has an excellent reputation in that area. His reference to the OnePlus 3T makes the arrival of the device very likely.
