The Palm Phone comes out as a standalone smartphone. Until now, customers of the American provider Verizon Wireless could only use it as a secondary device. Customers can now choose to use the Palm Phone with their own number and subscription.

The Palm Phone will only remain available from Verizon Wireless, the company behind the Palm Phone reports. As a result, it is still not possible to buy it in other countries, including Europe. With the release as a standalone phone, the phone also had an update to extend the battery life and improve the photos. Both issues emerged as pain points from the initial reviews.

The Palm Phone is a mini smartphone with Android. The device has a 3.3 “screen and runs on Android 8.1. According to the specs page, the device is 96x51mm in size, while almost all current smartphones measure at least 140x68mm and are often even larger than that.

The phone has a 3.3″ LCD with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The Palm smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435-soc, where the manufacturer has placed 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage. The battery has a capacity of 800mAh.
