Skype has had a global outage since Monday evening
Microsoft service Skype has had a malfunction since Monday evening and users are still experiencing problems on Tuesday evening. The service itself says that more and more users can connect and make calls again.
In a short announcement on its website, Skype writes that improvements have been visible since Tuesday afternoon and that users report that they can make video calls again. However, there are still people who suffer from problems. Among other things, they leave to hear on Twitter. This includes losing the connection and not being able to send or receive messages.
Some users will not see the black bar indicating that a group call is in progress. It may also take longer for users to add others to their buddy list. The Microsoft service does not clarify what caused the problems, but has indicated since Monday evening that it is aware. Other Microsoft services don’t seem to be affected by the issues.
