Sitecom has introduced the WLR-9000 and WLR-9500. The routers can use the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies and the WLR-9500 supports mu-mimo. Both routers have four antennas.

The WLR-9000 can transmit Wi-Fi over 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and can achieve maximum theoretical speeds of 600Mbit/s on 2.4GHz and 1300Mbit/s on 5GHz. The router has a gigabit WAN port, four gigabit LAN ports, a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port. The MyWiFi app is available for Android and iOS that can be used to set up the router.

The WLR-9500 offers all the possibilities that the WLR-9000 has, but achieves higher speeds. On 2.4GHz the theoretical maximum speed is 800Mbit/s and on 5GHz it is 1750Mbit/s. The router also supports mu-mimo, allowing for higher bandwidth when multiple users are connected to the router at the same time.

Both routers are available immediately in the Benelux. The WLR-9000 has a suggested retail price of 129 euros and the WLR-9500 of 179 euros.
