Signify is recalling power supplies for Philips Hue outdoor lights
Signify has initiated a recall of 40W power supplies supplied with Philips Hue outdoor lights between 2018 and 2020. In ‘very exceptional cases’, the power supplies can be damaged by water leakage and pose a safety risk.
The affected power supplies were in starter packs of various Philips Hue outdoor lamps. Signify has put a page online where customers can check a code on their power supply to see if it needs to be replaced.
It concerns the production code with the format YYWW. This indicates in which year and which week the food was produced. If the first two numbers are 19 or less and the second two numbers are 41 or less, then customers are eligible for a new food.
Customers must complete a form and include a photo of the appropriate food to be eligible for a new one. Power supplies produced in 2020 are not affected.
