Short puzzle leads to Mr. Robot trailer of new season

The Twitter channel of the TV series Mr. Robot posted an image on Friday followed by a number of cryptic tweets. Not long after, a Twitter user found out about the solution and found the trailer for the new season on YouTube.

It began with an image depicting a character from the series. Sharp-eyed Twitter users could see that the man in the picture had a certain pattern on it. That turned out to be a Morse code that referred to a certain url. There was then a cryptic clue, which Twitter user Ivan Lopes cracked. That then led him to the trailer.

mr. Robot is a series created by Sam Esmail that revolves around a hacker who works for a security company. He is played by actor Rami Malek. The series centers on the megacorporation E Corp, who is targeted by a hacker group led by a character known as Mr. Robot.
