Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem is out January 25
Serious Sam 4 is getting a standalone expansion. Siberian Mayhem is set in Russia and features new monsters in addition to new landscapes. The expansion contains five extended missions. Siberian Mayhem originated from a mod.
The expansion includes new enemies and bosses. According to the developers, these are “the most advanced creatures” from the Serious Sam series to date. Siberian Mayhem also includes new weapons, including an experimental crossbow, and vehicles such as snowmobiles and mechs. The expansion will be available on Steam from January 25th and will be priced at $20. There is also a bundle for sale of the expansion and Serious Sam 4, for 28.20 euros.
Siberian Mayhem was originally a community project by Timelock Studio. Serious Sam developer Croteam, in collaboration with the modders, created a standalone expansion for Serious Sam 4. According to Croteam, Siberian Mayhem was created by some of the “most talented” members of the Serious Sam community. The team that has united under the name Timelock Studio consists of DedKadath, Asdolg, YaNexus, UrbanDeHuman, FreekNik, MintFritter, NSKuber and Ar2R-devil-PiNKy.
